1. EVIPSAND Institutional Policy (Staff Only)

1.1 Purpose

This policy establishes the guiding principles, ethical conduct, and professional responsibilities required of all staff members of the Everlasting Institute of Professional Studies and Development (EVIPSAND). The purpose is to promote a healthy, inclusive, and high-performing institutional culture consistent with the Institute’s vision of excellence and lifelong learning.

1.2 Scope

Applies to all permanent, part-time, contract, and support personnel employed by EVIPSAND.

1.3 Core Principles

  • Integrity: All staff shall uphold honesty, transparency, and accountability in all institutional duties.
  • Professionalism: Faculty and staff must demonstrate competence, discipline, punctuality, and respect for institutional processes.
  • Confidentiality: Staff must protect sensitive information relating to students, colleagues, and the institution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Every staff member is encouraged to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Excellence: Strive for continuous improvement and high standards in service delivery and professional development.

1.4 Code of Conduct

  1. Maintain respectful communication with colleagues, students, and stakeholders.
  2. Avoid discrimination, harassment, or bias of any kind.
  3. Use institutional resources responsibly and only for official purposes.
  4. Dress and behave in a manner that reflects professionalism and institutional values.
  5. Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.

1.5 Academic and Administrative Standard

  • Faculty shall ensure teaching quality, fairness in assessment, and timely feedback.

1.6 Conflict of Interest

All staff must disclose any personal or financial interest that could compromise impartiality in decision-making.

1.7 Disciplinary Procedures

Violation of institutional policy may result in disciplinary action, ranging from verbal warning to dismissal in accordance with established HR guidelines.

1.8 Grievance Procedure

Staff members have the right to raise grievances through the established chain of command, ensuring timely and impartial resolution.

EVIPSAND commits to continuous staff development through workshops, seminars, and professional certification opportunities.

2 Student Policies

2.1 Student Code of Conduct

All students of EVIPSAND are expected to conduct themselves with dignity, discipline, and a commitment to academic excellence.
Key expectations include:

  • Respect for staff, peers, and institutional property.
  • Prohibition of cheating, plagiarism, violence, or disruptive behavior.
  • Compliance with all academic and administrative regulations.

2.2 Attendance and Punctuality

Students must attend at least 75% of scheduled classes per course to qualify for assessment. Late arrival may result in being marked absent.

2.3 Academic Integrity

EVIPSAND maintains a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism or any form of academic dishonesty. Offenders will face disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion depending on the severity.

2.4 Dress Code

Students are expected to dress decently and professionally within the campus environment. Indecent or distracting attire is not permitted.

2.5 Use of Facilities

Institutional facilities (libraries, laboratories, ICT centers) shall be used responsibly. Students will be liable for damages caused by negligence or misuse.

Students should maintain polite and positive communication with faculty and administration, both in person and via official digital platforms

2.7 Fees and Financial Obligations

VAll tuition and associated fees must be paid within the designated deadlines. Defaulters may be barred from classes, examinations, or issuance of transcripts and Certificate.

2.8 Disciplinary Procedures

Offending students will receive:

  1. Warning (verbal or written)
  2. Probation
  3. Suspension or expulsion, depending on the gravity of misconduct. Students have the right to appeal any disciplinary decision through the Student Disciplinary Committee.

2.9 Health, Safety, and Security

Students must adhere to institutional safety instructions and report any hazards or incidents promptly.

2.10 Student Support and Welfare

EVIPSAND provides counseling, mentoring, and career guidance services to ensure the personal and academic success of every student.
